1. Seller and definitions
The online shop venethome.com (the “shop”) is operated by, and the seller is, AM Digital s.r.o., registered office Příkop 843/4, 602 00 Brno, Czech Republic, company ID (IČO) 06657303, VAT ID CZ06657303, entered in the Commercial Register under file number C 103457 vedená u Krajského soudu v Brně (the “seller”).
Contact: e-mail support@venethome.com. The postal address is the seller’s registered office.
The buyer is either a consumer, i.e. a natural person buying outside the scope of their business, or a business buying in the course of its business (in particular when a company ID is given in the order). Provisions expressly intended for consumers do not apply to businesses.
Matters not covered by these terms are governed by Czech law, in particular Act No. 89/2012 Coll., the Civil Code, and for consumers Act No. 634/1992 Coll., on Consumer Protection.
The contract may be concluded in Czech, English or German, in the language version of the shop in which the order was placed. The Czech version prevails in case of discrepancy, without limiting your rights as a consumer.
3. Price and payment
Prices are final and include value added tax and all other taxes and charges.
Prices are set in Czech koruna. If you choose another currency (EUR, PLN, HUF, RON, SEK, DKK), prices are converted at the Czech National Bank exchange rate and rounded. The price in the currency in which the order was placed and confirmed is binding.
Delivery and service charges are shown in the checkout before you place the order: delivery CZK 690 per order, free for goods worth CZK 30,000 or more after discounts; carry-in and removal of old furniture CZK 2,990.
- Bank transfer to the account stated in the order confirmation; use the digits of the order number as the payment reference (e.g. VN26-00001 → 2600001). Payment is due within 7 days of the order confirmation and goods are dispatched once it has been received.
- Cash or card payment to the carrier on delivery.
If a bank transfer is not received within 7 days of the order confirmation, the seller may withdraw from the contract.
The seller issues the invoice after payment and sends it electronically to the buyer’s e-mail.
Discount codes and promotions are subject to the conditions stated with the promotion (validity, products, amount). Codes must be entered in the cart before the order is placed; discounts cannot be combined or applied retrospectively.
4. Delivery
We deliver to all member states of the European Union to the address given in the order. Delivery means delivery to the building at a point accessible by vehicle; carrying furniture into the home is a separate service.
The expected delivery date is stated in the order confirmation and we agree the delivery day with you in advance. Unless stated otherwise for the product or in the confirmation, we deliver within 30 days of the conclusion of the contract; for made-to-order goods we always confirm any longer period in advance.
Please check the dimensions of doors, corridors, staircases and lifts in advance. Furniture is delivered in its original packaging; large pieces may require simple assembly (feet, headrests) unless stated otherwise.
The carry-in and removal service covers carrying the new furniture into the home and taking away old furniture of a similar type and size for environmentally sound disposal. The old furniture must be ready to be taken away (emptied and, where necessary, dismantled).
On delivery, check that the packaging is intact and the number of parcels is correct. Please note any visible damage in the carrier’s delivery record and take photographs; this makes the complaint easier to settle. Your statutory rights are not affected.
If the buyer fails to accept the goods without good reason, or repeated delivery is needed for reasons on the buyer’s side, the seller may claim the reasonable costs of repeated delivery or storage.
The risk of damage passes to the buyer on receipt of the goods. Ownership passes on full payment of the price.
5. Right of withdrawal (information for consumers)
If you are a consumer, you may withdraw from a purchase contract concluded through the shop without giving any reason within 14 days of the day on which you, or a third party other than the carrier indicated by you, take possession of the goods. If the order is delivered in several parts, the period runs from receipt of the last part.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, inform us by a clear statement, preferably by e-mail to support@venethome.com. You may use the model withdrawal form at the end of these terms, but it is not obligatory. The deadline is met if you send your withdrawal before it expires.
Return the goods without undue delay and no later than 14 days after withdrawing, complete and, where possible, in the original packaging. On request we will arrange the collection.
You bear the direct cost of returning the goods. For goods that by their nature cannot normally be returned by post (in particular sofas, beds, wardrobes and kitchens), we estimate this cost at CZK 1,500-4,900 depending on size, weight and collection address.
We refund all payments received, including the cost of the least expensive standard delivery, within 14 days of your withdrawal, using the same means of payment unless agreed otherwise. We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent them. The price of the carry-in and removal service already provided at your request is not refunded.
You are liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning (for example use, damage, soiling or missing parts). You may examine the goods as you would in a shop. We may set off such compensation against the refund.
The right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised (for example a non-standard size, fabric or configuration ordered outside the variants offered) or to goods which after delivery are inseparably mixed with other items. We will always point this out before the contract is concluded.
A buyer who is a business has no right of withdrawal under this section.
The seller may withdraw from the contract before delivery if the goods cannot be supplied for objective reasons (for example discontinued production) or the price was obviously wrong. Any payment is refunded within 14 days.
6. Complaints and liability for defects
The seller is responsible for the goods being free from defects on receipt, conforming to the contract and description and being fit for the purpose for which such goods are normally used.
A consumer may claim a defect that appears within 24 months of receipt. A defect appearing within one year of receipt is presumed to have existed on receipt. A buyer who is a business may claim defects within 12 months of receipt.
Make your complaint without undue delay after discovering the defect by e-mail to support@venethome.com. Please give the order number and a description of the defect and attach photographs; for transport damage also photographs of the packaging and the delivery record. Please keep the goods, where possible in the original packaging, until the complaint is settled.
If a defect is visible on delivery (such as transport damage), please tell us as soon as possible, ideally within 3 working days; this helps us deal with the carrier. Later notice does not limit your statutory rights.
A consumer may request the defect to be remedied by repair or replacement. If that is impossible or disproportionate, the consumer may request a reasonable price reduction and, for a material defect, withdraw from the contract.
We settle complaints and inform you of the outcome within 30 days of receipt unless a longer period is agreed. You will receive confirmation of the complaint and of its settlement by e-mail. If the complaint is justified, we cover the reasonable costs involved, including collection of the goods.
Wear from normal use, changes caused by improper use, care or cleaning contrary to the instructions, and the natural characteristics of materials (such as wood grain, the texture and ageing of leather, slight creasing of soft upholstery or minor shade differences between production batches) are not defects.
7. Personal data
We process personal data to the extent necessary to conclude and perform the contract and to meet our legal obligations. See the Privacy policy for details.
8. Complaints handling, dispute resolution and supervision
Complaints are handled at support@venethome.com.
Consumers are entitled to out-of-court resolution of consumer disputes. The competent body is the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (adr.coi.cz). Consumers from other EU member states may also contact the European Consumer Centre in their country.
Compliance is supervised by the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (coi.cz), for personal data by the Office for Personal Data Protection (uoou.gov.cz) and, within the scope of the trade licence, by the competent trade licensing office.
9. Final provisions
The contract is governed by Czech law. If the buyer is a consumer habitually resident in another EU member state, this does not deprive them of the protection of mandatory provisions of the law of that state.
The seller archives the concluded contract electronically; it is not accessible to third parties. You will receive the order confirmation by e-mail and can save or print these terms at any time.
The seller may amend these terms. Contracts already concluded are governed by the version in force when the order was placed.
These terms are effective from 1 January 2026.
